Define the term globalisation. 

This is when a social media platform is used globally from companies, public and creators. Can be used to distribute products throughout the world, can be a positive (globalising everything for everyone) and negative (can have negative impacts on people) thing. 


How does Wikinomics link to change in media production.

The global economy has changed due to technology, the consumer can become the prosumer, changed who can and cannot make money online due to the technology increase.

UPS- Unique Selling Point - the aspect(s) of a product that makes it standout from competitors  UGC- User Generated Content - the media content made by prosumers in the digital age. Any form of content - posts, images, videos, reviews, etc. - created by consumers on an online or social network.  Folksonomy- basically a system of sharing of ideas across an online community.
